I borrowed this title from my local library. My middle-grade daughter also read The Vow and An Uncertain Choice and she loved them! The thought-provoking questions at the end of the book are the cherry on top for encouraging discussion on important issues.

The mystery was tempered with humor and youthful attraction. In my opinion, Rosemarie is a delightfully innocent heroine and her knight in shining armor is truly valiant and chivalrous.

The kid in me relished the fairy tale style and the way the font changed with each point of view shift cleverly kept the identity of the hero hidden at first. I am a big fan of Jody Hedlund’s historical fiction and I am very pleased with this YA series, as well! First of all the cover is absolutely beautiful and makes me want to go visit an old castle and wear long medieval gowns. The prequel really set the stage for An Uncertain Choice, introducing Rosemarie, her parents, and the nearby village. Even if you don’t own a Kindle, you can still read it using the FREE Kindle Reading App on your PC, smartphone, or tablet.
